whenever i hear someone saying that he/she is going to sign up as a teacher, i can't help but stop and wonder. or probably question his/her motive for doing that.
do you even understand this whole purpose of being an educator.
alright, maybe i am too influenced by the people at Lewin; they do not teach because they want to. period.
so i really wish my peers; i am surrounded by people who suddenly feel they can be inspiring nurturers to the kids. the keyword, suddenly; can consider thoroughly what they are getting into.
it really irks me that they are doing it for all the wrong reasons.
as much as i enjoy what i'm doing, i am afraid of getting myself into this profession entirely. i am still a tad hesitant. so i'm not sure i believe their words. that teaching is their "calling". if you think,behave,love the kids like mr toh, then yes, i believe you.
ohgod. im such a cynic.
